Terms of service

Last updated: 29 September 2026

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms of service ("terms") are an agreement between you and RideSite and govern your use of the RideSite website builder, booking engine, AI tools, credits, subscriptions and hosting. By creating an account, or by using a site we host for you, you accept these terms. If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.

2. Data we collect and how we use it

This summary explains, in plain terms, what personal data RideSite collects and why. The full detail — including retention periods, your rights and how to delete your data — is in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

We collect and use:

  • Account data — your name, email address and sign-in method (email password or Google sign-in). Used to create and secure your account and to contact you about it.
  • Business profile data — business name, phone, WhatsApp, email, city, country, currency, logo, vehicles, fares and services you enter. Used to build, publish and host your website and to power your booking engine.
  • Booking and customer data — journey details (pickup, drop-off, date, time, flight number), passenger names, emails and phone numbers entered on your site's booking form. Stored in your account so you can manage bookings; emailed to you and your customer as confirmations and status updates.
  • Payment data — card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers. We store plan, invoice and credit-purchase records to run billing.
  • Usage data — page views on published sites (page address and referring site only), credit transactions and AI usage logs. Used for analytics shown to you, billing, abuse prevention and improving the service.
  • AI prompts — the text you type into the AI builder is sent to our AI provider to generate your site content. It is not used to train public models.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your or your customers' data for advertising. Data is shared only with the processors needed to run the service — hosting and database (Lovable Cloud), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), maps and address lookup (Google Maps Platform) and AI generation — each under a data processing agreement, and only for the purpose of providing the service. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email and profile picture from Google, and we use it solely to create and sign in to your account; we do not access your Gmail, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.

3. Your account

Give accurate business details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by staff seats you invite. You must be at least 16 years old and legally allowed to run your transport business, including holding any licence your local authority requires (for example PHV, TLC or the equivalent), valid insurance and vehicle licences. We may ask for proof.

4. Your website and content

You own your business content — text, images, logo, vehicles, fares, reviews and legal text you add. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it on your published site, and to back it up, for as long as needed to run the service. You keep ownership; we never take it.

You must not upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive or harmful content, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the prices, licences and information shown on your site. Websites can be generated by AI from your description — review the result before publishing, because you are responsible for what your site says and for the bookings it takes.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use RideSite to:

  • offer transport services you are not licensed or insured to provide;
  • host phishing, malware or content that infringes others' rights;
  • scrape, overload or interfere with the service or other tenants;
  • collect passengers' data without a lawful basis or mislead customers about prices;
  • resell the service or use it to build a competing website builder.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach this section, with notice where practical.

6. Credits and AI actions

AI actions (generating a new website, chat edits, new AI pages, SEO packs, blog posts, translations, image generation) cost credits. The current cost of each action is shown in the app before you run it; costs can change and we will always show the new cost before you spend. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not refunded for results you simply don't like — although if a paid generation fails on our side, the credits are returned automatically.

Your balance is maintained in a credit ledger; purchases and subscription grants add to it and AI actions deduct from it. If your balance is too low, AI actions are blocked until you buy more credits.

7. Plans, payments and renewals

Subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Business) are billed monthly and grant their monthly credits on each successful invoice. Credit packs (25–1,000 credits) are one-off purchases. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Plan limits — number of sites, vehicles, custom domains, staff seats and badge removal — are set on your plan page and enforced in our backend.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the current paid month and then does not renew. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Where required by your location, prices may include or exclude VAT/taxes as shown at checkout. We may suspend accounts for non-payment or breach of these terms.

8. Bookings and your customers

The booking engine takes bookings on your behalf and emails confirmations, but the contract for the ride is strictly between you and your customer. You are responsible for honouring bookings, handling refunds, complaints, taxes and consumer-protection rules on your fares, and for keeping accurate vehicle and pricing data. When you enable online payments, funds go to your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect); you authorise Stripe's connected-account terms when you link it.

9. Domains and publishing

Every account gets a free address at name.operator.ridesite.com. Paid plans can connect a custom domain: you are responsible for buying, renewing and pointing the domain's DNS records correctly, and for the content published there. We may remove a domain connection that is used abusively. Publishing pushes your saved site to the live address; unpublishing or maintenance mode takes it down.

10. Availability, support and changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We may add, change or remove features and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paid plans. Support is provided by email at info@taxi-webdesign.com on a best-efforts basis.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RideSite is not liable for indirect, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost bookings, lost data or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the total you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

12. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account, which removes your sites, bookings and customer data as described in the privacy policy. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law, with notice where practical. If your subscription ends, your published site is taken offline and data is handled per the retention table in the privacy policy.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. Before going to court, please email us first — most problems can be sorted out directly.
